Big Surprise it's been a while.

I can't remember the last time I was on here. There have been a ton of things going on in our lives. To start, Chad has had two surgeries. One on his shoulder and the other on his knee. He is doing much better now, but still will be on light duty for a while. Tyson played t-ball this summer and loved every minute of it. I had fun with him. He had great parents and kids on his team. He started preschool again this week. It is so nice for him to be back at school. He loves it. Dillon is so big now. He has 7 teeth with 3 or 4 coming in. He has been walking for almost 2 months. This is trouble. He is into everything. It doesn't matter where it is or how high, he tries to get it all. He says 9 words. It's really cute when he talks. He say hi, bye, dad, mom, tyson, out, dogs, more, and some. They are not perfect but we understand him. He loves his brother. They play and wrestle and fight all the time. I am so greatful for my boys. They make me crazy, but that's why they are mine.

The boys!

(The pics- They love bath time. Tyson playing baseball in the backyard broke a branch from "his best hit" and was very proud of what he did. Dillon loves to climb on things or in things. He was very happy to be in the box.)

I have the craziest boys on earth. If they are not beating on each other or driving me crazy they are doing funny things. Tyson loves sports. He is playing soccer right now. My brother and I coach the team and it is so much fun. He loves. I don't have pics yet. I am waiting for my dad to give them to me. When he is not playing soccer or picking on Dillon he wants to play baseball. He is so good. I can't wait for him to be in coach pitch. Dillon is all over the place. He is naughty as ever and loves to get into everything. He crawls great in his own goofy way. He is trying to walk, but is not quite there yet. We are hoping by his birthday. He has a month tomorrow so he better get on it. I love being a mom. Whenever I have a bad day I think about the crazy things these two have done throughout the day and it always makes me smile.

It has been a while.

Well it has been a few months since I have shared any exciting things in are family. We have been pretty busy. A lot of our free time was spent going to UNLV basketball games. Unfortunately the season didn't end how we had hoped. I started selling jewelry through lia sophia. I am having a lot of fun and making some good money. Chad is working on getting back into shape from his surgery. This is a big deal for him. He is much happier when he can workout. Tyson is big and naughty like always. We love him to death but man he is a handful. We we driving down the street one day and he said mom that sign says S-t-o-p. I said yep your right. Then he said that spells stop. I was so impressed. We are going to start the reading process soon, because he wants to spell everything. Dillon is doing really good. He has 3 teeth and eats like he has 10. The child eats more than Tyson. He learned to crawl a while ago and is now walking while pushing his toys. I can't believe it. He is a little naughty. He likes to make lots of messes and get into everything. He likes to say hi and wave to anyone that smiles at him. He is a lot of fun.

My life

Chad's injured shoulder.

He loves the camera

So you would think with two kids you would have a lot to talk about, but for some reason I haven't had much over the last few weeks. Chad had surgery again last Monday. This was on his right shoulder. He got hurt at work. This is the 5th surgery for him. The second in the last year. He has had both shoulders, ankle, knee, and hand since we have been married. It has been almost 7 years. He is a mess. Last week I told him I felt like I had 3 children. I am not a fan of 3, so I am sure that we will not be adding to our family at anytime. He is good with that too. I have decided that I am going to try and make some money without having to really work. I am starting to sell Lia Sophia jewelry. I hope that I can make a good chunk of money each month.

The boys are doing good. Tyson is learning as fast as can be. We were driving today, and he said Mom that sign says stop that spells stop. I was shocked. He then told me that N-O spells no and Y-E-S spells yes. Mind you he turned 3 in January. I can't believe how smart he is. He is a great boy. Dillon is doing well. He finally got a tooth. It only took 5 months. I love it. He is still not crawling. He prefers to roll everywhere or be in his walker. One day hopefully he will crawl. He just learned how to clap when he is excited and blow kisses. I love it. I love being a mom. I am definitely grateful for the end of each night when the house is quiet, but I do love most of the days.

I can see!!!

So every year around this time I have to go to the eye doctor to order new glasses and contacts. For the last 5 years or so I have been wanting to get Lasik done, but we just didn't have the money. Well a few weeks ago Chad said just go get your eyes fixed. I figured I better do it now so I didn't need to spend money on the other stuff again. On Thursday I went into Dr. Siems office for my consultation and on Friday I went back and got my eyes done. It is such a great thing to be able to see first thing in the morning. My eyes are really dry, but other than that and no makeup I can't complain. I am still getting use to not taking out my contacts each night and looking for my glasses in the morning. They said I was the top candidate that day getting surgery. That meant that nobody has worse vision than me. That is really sad. I am so glad that I did this. It really has made a difference all ready, and it will be another week or so before I am fully healed. Anybody who is thinking about it should definitely do it.

Peanut

Peanut is Dillon's nickname. We started calling him that when he was born because he was so small. Now the kids is 7 months, 18 lbs and a beast. He is growing so fast. He loves to eat. He will eat anything but baby food. We have been giving him regular food and he loves it. Peas, corn, green beans, mac and cheese, and gram crackers are just a few of his favorites. I don't mind that he is not eating baby food. He seems to be doing better with his spitting up with all the good stuff he eats. He has learned so much over the last 3 weeks. He is trying to crawl, but has not figured it out quite yet so he rolls everywhere. When he is sitting he scoots forward on his butt with his hands. He feeds himself most of the time (yea). He says Dada and on Sunday he said Mama for the first time. He doesn't have teeth yet, but I think that it is just a matter of time before they come in. He is a ball of energy. He loves to smile at everyone, even if he doesn't know you. And just like Tyson he is very loud. I love to watch him play. He is so much fun. I can't wait till he is crawling. Tyson and him are going to have so much fun. I am in trouble.

Tyson is 3

His Batman cake.
Having fun with his friends.

The big slide.

This is how he shows that he is 3. I am a little behind as usually, but my Tyson turned 3 on the 4th. We had his birthday party at Bounce U. It was a great place for the kids. (The adults had fun too.) We had this huge room for just our party. The kids had and hour and 15 minutes to play. There was a boxing ring, a big slide, an obstacle course, and a basketball house. All the stuff was inflatable so no one could really get hurt. After play time we went into another room for pizza, cake, ice cream, and presents. Tyson had so much fun. Every morning for the entire week he would get up and say "is it my birthday today?" When I would tell him no he would cry. I had to explain to him that his party was the day before his birthday and then on his birthday he was going to be a Sunbeam. He was really excited about that. Time has gone by so fast. I can not believe that he is 3. I look at Dillon and remember Tyson at this age. They are so much a like. I love my little boys.

Merry Christmas

Dillon watching his brother open presents.

Santa brought his favorite M&M's in his stocking

Christmas was so much fun this year. Tyson was awake until 1:30 the night before so he slept in until 9:00 that morning. Dillon was up at 8:30 so we were ok with that. My dad and step-mom were coming over for breakfast. That was nice, because it was one less house we had to go to this year. Tyson woke up and the first thing he said was, "did the reindeer eat their food?" He put food on the grass for them. We went out and checked and the he was ready to see what Santa brought him. He was very excited for this. He got his video game that he wanted. After he checked out his santa stuff he went straight for the tree. He was such a good boy. He kept telling us thank you and asking were Dillon's presents were. After breakfast we went to Chad's parent's house. Hung out over there, ate a little, and the kids opened preasents. Tyson was just as excited and polite as he was earlier. The very last stop of the day was my mom's house. We ate again, kids opened presents and played a game. It was a good but very long day. The next morning Tyson woke up and was looking at all his presents. I walked in his room and asked him why he was smiling. He said Mom thats a lot of toys. I said I know. He then said, That was a good Christmas. I laughed. He is almost three and these are the things he says.

before christmas

It has been a while since I have been able to get on here. We have had a crazy few weeks. Chad's birthday was on the 13th. We were suppose to go to his work Christmas party however we spent the night in the emergency room with Tyson. He had been sick for 3 days and that afternoon he was having a really hard time breathing and we could not get his fever to break. When he started wheezing we knew it was time to go. He was given medicine, put on an IV and got a chest xray. The said that he had a viral infection, he was dehydrated, and low on potassium. We finally got home about 2:30am. It took him about a week to get over everything. I was glad though, because it was just in time for Christmas. We were really lucky to, because the baby never got sick.
