Disneyland

loving Minnie Mouse Mickey is for boys

Buzz Lightyear

Loves TIGGER

Not to happy with Pooh today

Well, we took our first trip as a family of 4 this week. I started planning and packing like 3 days before we left, and still was up until 12:30 the night before. It takes so much longer to pack with just one more person. We got up at 3:30 and was on the road by 4:10. We thought since it was still dark outside the boys would sleep most of the way. We hoped I should say. Dillon hates the car so we had our fingers crossed. Tyson woke up about 10 mins after we left and took about a 45min nap. He was so excited. We arrived at the park at about 10:30. We went to our hotel first that's why we were a little later than expected. I was so tired, I don't remember what we even did first. I think we went on Buzz Lightyear. Tyson loved it. We then ate lunch and hit the Nemo ride. Another favorite of Tysons. He drove the cars and then we moved on to Adventure land. While we were over by the Winnie the Pooh ride, we got to take pictures with Pooh and Tigger. You can see who Tyson likes better in the pictures. We met up with some friends for the rest of the day. We also went over to California Adventure. Didn't do much there because we were so tired. After taking and hour to get out of the park we went to eat, went back to our hotel and crashed. The boys were pretty good even on little sleep.

The second day I thought would be better since we all had more sleep. I was wrong. We were going to a character breakfast at 9:30. This was a pain. They lost our reservation, then confused us with another family, gave us some serious attitude, but finally got things figured out. This was all in the first 30 minutes of being there. Dillon also pooped 3 times and had to be changed into his second and only extra outfit. Once things were settled we ate and Tyson got to meet the characters. He did not want to talk to Minne. ( she is for girls dad) Dillon however felt different. We finally got done and hit the rides. It was a lot of fun, but Tyson was not having the waiting in line thing. He was very impatient. We went back to California Adventure and say playhouse Disney. That was a fav for Tys. We then went on more rides and went shopping. Dillon spit up all over his clothes. He was soaked so I went to buy him more clothes. He fell asleep in line and did not wake up until 10 min before we left. Needless to say the $40 outfit was worn when we got home. We met up with some friends for a little while, watched the fireworks, and left.

We had a good time. Tyson loved it and the next morning asked, can we go to Disneyland today again. We said no and he said I want to go home now.

Tyson's funny story

Today I was out shopping with the boys and Tyson was talking my ear off like normal. He asked me if he could go play at his friends house today. I said not today maybe tomorrow. He didn't like that answer, and said I don't want you to be my mom. I want Anna to be my new mom. (That is his friend's mom). I said ok then you are going to have 3 brothers and 1 sister. He said ok that's fun mom. Then I told him that he was going to have to share toys, his room, and a bed. He said mom, I don't want to share my bed you can still be my mom, ok. So I guess he only wants me for his mom, because he gets his own bed.

Halloween

So I know that it has been like three weeks since Halloween, but I just now got a few pictures. Our camera was stolen from our stroller that night so I did not have any pictures. My sister and mom came over and took some of the boys for me. They were very cute. Tyson was very excited to be batman, and made the same face and stance in every picture. Dillon was not very happy with his giraffe. He hated the hood. I was lucky to get a few pictures of him.

The last week

It seems like time just flies by now a days. I was recording the boys today, and Tyson wanted to see. He is always curious of what is on the video camera or what the picture looks like after it is taken. So I told him when I was done we would watch the entire video on tv. I was not really sure what was on or camera so I was a little excited to see. The first thing that we saw was Tyson's 2nd birthday. He was so excited to see this. It made me a little sad, because he has grown up so much in the last 10 months. He went from being my baby to my big boy. Chad was filming the party and Tyson could hear him talking, but couldn't figure out why he couldn't see him. I thought that was so funny. As we sat there and watched Tyson got such a kick out of himself. Every sport he saw himself play on TV he wanted to put on those type of clothes. He loves sports and when he plays he has to wear the specific outfit for each sport. We also saw the day that Dillon was born. He was so tiny. Tyson asked me why he was so dirty when he came out of my belly. There were a lot of questions during this part.

I was reminded how little he was when he was born. He has grown so much over the last five months. He is still our little peanut. He is about 13lbs now. He is still wearing 0-3 month clothes. So are just 3 months, but definitely not any bigger. He learned how to roll over this week. He gets stuck sometimes and screams for help. He loves to scream and blow bubbles. He has got quite the personality all ready. There is definitely a temper inside of him. All though Chad says he is a mama's boy, his favorite person is Tyson. He loves his brother. I am so glad that I have these two sweet boys. They make me tired, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

What's been going on.

So, I am trying this blog thing out. I am not sure what I am doing, but I hope it won't be to hard.
Things have been a little crazy for us. We have, or I should say, Chad has been doing lots of work around our house. His newest project has been our master bath. He has been working hard for the last month on it, and I am sure by Thanksgiving it will be done. Chad is a man of many talents, and he is learning the talent of laying tile, and plumbing. This is why it is taking so long. I can't wait till it is complete. It will be beautiful when it is all done.
Tyson is 2 and going to preschool. He goes around the block to a lady in the ward. He loves it. I love it to. He is such a little smarty. He comes to the car after school, and says to me, "Mom that is a good school." He has learned so much all ready, but my favorite thing is when he says the pledge. He doesn't have all the correct words, but he makes up his own. It is so cute.
Dillon is growing. He is still tiny for his age. He will be 5 months tomorrow. We call him peanut, because he is. He is trying to roll over and is getting pretty sturdy on sitting. He loves his brother. Tyson is the one who can make him smile and laugh more than anyone.
Life is challenging with two little boys, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
